Rosehaven Announces Unprecedented Rent-To-Own Program At New Landmark High Rise, ROSEHAVEN

February 27, 2026

Residents can now own suites at the Rebecca in Hamilton for just $250 per week

Hamilton, Ont. – Rosehaven has announced a new rent-to-own program that will allow buyers at The Rebecca Residences in Hamilton to own their home for as little as $250 a week. The program, which is available as of February 28, is attuned to the needs of the city’s downtown residents, over 80% of whom are renters.

The city has become a popular destination among renters, with recent data suggesting that favourited listings have shot up 207% — the highest increase of any city in the country.

But the average rent in the city is still over $2,000, according to the latest figures from Rentals.ca. The Rebecca’s new program allows these same renters to own their own brand-new, pre-construction condo at a rate of just half that.

Located across from John Rebecca Park in the heart of downtown Hamilton, The Rebecca is one of the city’s most ambitious projects to date. This modern collection of residences are set in a 24-storey tower with a wide range of modern amenities including a 24-hour concierge team, a children’s playroom, a fitness centre, and co-work spaces.

Spacious sun-lit suites with terraces offer lake and park views. The building’s European-designed, pedestrian-friendly streetscape seamlessly connects the entrance and the adjacent urban green spaces. Plus, it’s just a short walk from nearby transit hubs, and the restaurants and attractions of King William Street.

The Rebecca is just one of a number of major investments being made in Downtown Hamilton, even as other high-rise projects across the GTHA are being paused or cancelled. Other investments include a $300-million renovation of TD Coliseum, the city’s largest performance venue which has recently hosted high-profile performers like Paul McCartney, Andrea Bocelli, and the Jonas Brothers.

Rosehaven will be offering interested buyers at the Rebecca a chance to win tickets to upcoming concerts as part of its “Celebrate Hamilton” initiative, which also includes passes to some of the city’s shows, attractions, and sporting events.

The project is Rosehaven’s second development in the Hamilton core. In 2021, the builder launched Kiwi Condos on King William Street. Their knowledge of the market and experience with Hamilton buyers have prompted them to continue investing in the region.

With Rosehaven’s new rent-to-own program, buyers can own a piece of this project with a flexible and affordable new deposit model. To learn more about this offering, visit Rosehaven’s presentation gallery and model suite at 212 King William Street, or visit RosehavenHomes.com.
