The Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) and Humber Polytechnic are announcing the launch of a new real estate course focused on practical knowledge of OREA Standard Forms and Clauses, the products that help facilitate almost every real estate transaction in Ontario.
Administered by OREA in partnership with Humber Polytechnic, the Mastering OREA Forms: A Practical Foundation for Real Estate Transactions is designed to help real estate professionals gain or brush up on the necessary fundamentals needed to succeed in the ever-evolving real estate profession. Registration is now open for the course, with a start date of January 19, 2026.
“As OREA has stated for many years, we want to ensure that real estate professionals in Ontario continue to be leaders when it comes to professional standards, education, and business tools,” said OREA President Cathy Polan. “This new real estate course is an important step towards that goal, equipping new and experienced professionals with the skills needed to navigate the always-changing world of Ontario real estate.”
Earlier this week, OREA and Humber Polytechnic held a certificate presentation for the participants who completed and passed the pilot course. President Polan, members of the OREA Board of Directors, and OREA Leadership were in attendance to present certificates of completion, commemorating this important milestone.
“We want to congratulate the first cohort of students on successfully completing the new course and passing the exam, showing their dedication to improving their craft,” said Polan. “I commend the participants for their hard work and achievement, leading the way for the next generation of real estate professionals.”
This course is the first of its kind from OREA and marks an important step forward in the Association’s mission to support excellence in the real estate profession.
