DBS Developments has officially opened Secord Park, a privately owned public green space located at Secord Avenue and Eastdale Avenue in Toronto’s East Danforth neighbourhood. The park was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, attended by Toronto City Councillor and Mayoral Candidate Brad Bradford, underscoring the broader civic importance of investing in green space that communities can genuinely access and enjoy.
There is a growing need for thoughtfully designed public green spaces, and Secord Park represents DBS Developments’ commitment to going beyond the build – creating spaces that contribute meaningfully to the fabric of the neighbourhoods they develop in, with a longer vision to continue expanding and investing in community-centred spaces over time.
The park features a cabana-style seating area and connects directly to an existing kids’ play area that has already become a beloved fixture for local families.
