PacificWest 2026, A Signature Series Designed for What’s Next in Real Estate, BUZZ BUZZ MEDIA

September 18, 2026

Real estate is changing quickly, and the professionals who continue to move forward will need more than market knowledge. They will need to understand data, technology, human behaviour, leadership, communication and the forces reshaping the Canadian economy.

That is the thinking behind PacificWest 2026, taking place September 28 – 29 at the Vancouver Convention Centre East. Co-hosted by the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board and Greater Vancouver REALTORS®, the conference brings together real estate professionals for two days focused on connection, education, innovation and practical ideas that can be taken back to the business. After attracting more than 1,400 real estate professionals in 2025, PacificWest returns with a program built around the theme of building professional momentum.

At the centre of this year’s program is the Signature Series, bringing together seven speakers whose expertise extends well beyond traditional real estate.

Anil Arora – Understanding the Data Behind Canada’s Future

Former Chief Statistician of Canada and Deputy Minister, Anil Arora brings a national perspective to one of the biggest questions facing business: what is happening to Canada’s workforce and population?

His Signature Series session, Reshaping Work in Canada, Demographics, Data, and the Digital Future, examines the demographic and economic trends influencing how Canadians work and how organizations prepare for the future. For real estate professionals, understanding these shifts can provide important context for decisions involving consumers, teams, communities and business strategy.

Daniel Lewis – Bringing Energy and Human Connection to Business

Known as the Human Caffeine, Daniel Lewis is a speaker and founder of T by Daniel. His presence brings a different dimension to the Signature Series, one centred on energy, engagement and the human side of professional relationships.

In an industry increasingly surrounded by technology, automation and AI, the ability to create genuine human connection remains an important part of the real estate experience.

David Allison – What Really Drives People

David Allison, founder of The Valuegraphics Research Company, approaches business and consumer behaviour through the lens of human values.

His PacificWest session, Boosting Sales by Being Human, draws on Valuegraphics research to explore how understanding what matters most to people can create stronger connections and more meaningful business relationships. Allison’s work is based on large-scale research into human values rather than traditional demographic assumptions, offering a different way for professionals to think about consumers and communication.

Jen Dillard – Building Businesses Brick by Brick

As CEO of Brick by Brick Collective, Jen Dillard brings a leadership and business-building perspective to the Signature Series.

Her inclusion reflects an increasingly important reality for today’s real estate professionals: sustainable success is not simply about individual transactions. It is also about building the systems, culture, relationships and strategies that allow a business to grow and adapt.

Mike Moffatt – The Bigger Picture Behind Housing

Mike Moffatt, Founding Director of the Missing Middle Initiative, brings an economic and housing perspective to PacificWest.

Housing affordability, supply and the evolution of Canadian communities continue to influence real estate markets across the country. Moffatt’s work provides a broader lens through which professionals can consider the relationship between housing policy, development and the communities in which they operate.

Natasha Koifman – The Power of Reputation and Communications

As President of NKPR Inc., Natasha Koifman brings decades of experience in public relations, communications and brand strategy.

In a profession where reputation, visibility and trust can directly influence relationships, communication has become an essential business skill. Koifman’s perspective adds the communications and brand dimension to a Signature Series that spans data, economics, leadership and human behaviour.

Shahana Alibhai – The Human Side of Leadership

International keynote speaker and bestselling author Shahana Alibhai rounds out the Signature Series with a focus on people and leadership.

Her work brings attention back to the individual behind the professional title, an increasingly relevant conversation as real estate organizations navigate changing expectations, evolving workplaces and new generations entering the industry.

Together, the seven Signature Series speakers represent a broad cross-section of the forces influencing real estate today, demographics, data, human values, leadership, housing, communications and the future of work.

That breadth is part of what makes PacificWest 2026 timely. The conference is not focused solely on where the real estate industry has been. Its program is designed around where the profession is heading and what professionals can do to build momentum along the way.

BUZZ BUZZ MEDIA is proud to be the Official Media Sponsor of the Conference.
