More than 40 agents from Every Avenue Real Estate, formerly with Royal LePage, joined REMAX Aboutowne, marking another milestone in the continued growth and success of REMAX Canada. The announcement follows the largest conversion in REMAX history earlier this year when 17 Ontario offices and more than 1,200 agents formerly affiliated with Royal LePage joined the REMAX network.
The group joined REMAX Aboutowne on June 15 and will operate a new downtown Oakville branch led by Duncan Harvey, former Broker/Owner of Every Avenue Real Estate. The move represents a return to REMAX for Harvey, who began his career with REMAX and said the decision was driven by the strength of the brand, the leadership of REMAX Aboutowne Broker/Owner Claudia DiPaola, and the long-term opportunity for agents.
“REMAX was where I started,” said Harvey. “As the industry continues to shift, we knew we needed the best possible partner, and there’s no one better than Claudia and her team at Aboutowne. I’m thrilled to be back at REMAX.”
For DiPaola, the expansion represents the next step in REMAX Aboutowne’s growth, bringing new talent while building a presence in downtown Oakville. The brokerage now has more than 240 agents with approximately 40 expected to be based out of the new Oakville location.
