The CREB® REALTOR® Community Foundation (CRCF) is set to open grant applications for its Community and Transformation Grants on May 1, 2026. This year, the Foundation will award a total of $360,000 in funding.
Each of the grant streams supports projects of varying scales and funds local housing- and shelter-related initiatives for those who need it most.
Community Grants
The Community Grant funds major repairs or renovations to existing housing or shelter spaces to help keep people housed in the community.
Transformation Grants
The Transformation Grant provides funding for minor renovation projects to existing infrastructure to improve housing quality for the community’s most vulnerable residents.
“CREB® REALTORS® are deeply connected to the communities they serve,” said Christian Twomey, Chair of the CREB® REALTOR® Community Foundation. “Through these grants, CREB® members are proud to support local organizations working every day to keep people housed and improve housing conditions for those who need it most.”
Non-profit organizations in Calgary and surrounding communities are encouraged to review the CREB® grant funding guidelines and determine eligibility. Applications are open from May 1 to June 30, 2026, and can be found at www.creb.com/Community_Investment/Grants/.
