On March 25, 2026, Corcoran Horizon Realty, Canada’s first franchise of the globally recognized Corcoran brand, hosted its “Winning the Market” Awards & Development Day, bringing together over 100 agents and industry leaders for a focused, working session on how to perform in today’s increasingly complex real estate market.
Designed as a working session rather than a traditional conference, the day was built around a clear premise: in a market defined by hesitation, pricing sensitivity, and shifting buyer behaviour, success comes down to sharper positioning, stronger communication, and the ability to lead clients with confidence.
Across the day, conversations consistently pointed to a shift in how agents are operating, with greater emphasis on pricing discipline, clearer client communication, and a more structured, advisory-led approach. Discussions led by agents, including Corcoran agents Colin Lavery, Rebecca Kenten-Johnson, Linda Cabral, Lloyd Cruz, Elias Ben Khelifa, Andrew De Leon, Jillian Leclair, and Cori Endrody, with moderation from Buzz Buzz Media Inc.’s CEO, Virginia Munden, explored where deals are breaking down in today’s market. From pricing credibility and seller expectations to buyer hesitation driven by interest rates and media narratives, the focus was on helping clients move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Alongside this, the conversation expanded into how agents are positioning themselves and growing their business in a more competitive landscape. Led by Natasha Koifman, President of Award-winning PR & Digital Marketing Agency – NKPR, alongside panellists and Corcoran agents Jeffrey Braun, Bianca Scaletta, Trishia Accorda, and Claudine Montano, discussions around brand and civility reframed the role of marketing as a function of reputation and credibility rather than aesthetics alone. This was following by a session on investor strategy, lead conversion, and technology adoption, with agents including Nick Klassen, William Forbes, Sy Williams, and Martinus Geleynse, moderated by Cliff Rego, examining how to scale effectively while maintaining a high level of client trust.
Bringing an external perspective into the room, the “State of the Market” panel featuring Peter Politis, CEO of Greybrook Realty Partners and Greybrook Capital, and Scott Higgins, President of HIP Developments, grounded the conversation in current development activity, market realities, and where opportunities are beginning to re-emerge.
The event also recognized standout performance across the Corcoran horizon network, celebrating agents across multiple tiers of production as well as contributions to collaboration and innovation.
The day concluded with a keynote fireside chat featuring Pamela Liebman, President and CEO of The Corcoran Group, who brought a global perspective shaped by decades of leadership across multiple market cycles. Her insights reinforced a consistent theme throughout the day: that long-term success in real estate is built on adaptability, relationships, and disciplined execution.
More broadly, “Winning the Market” reflects Corcoran Horizon Realty’s approach to growth. As the Canadian extension of a globally established brand, the brokerage continues to invest in building a high-performance network of agents equipped not just with tools, but with the strategic clarity required to operate in a changing market.
