The Central Lakes Association of REALTORS® (CLAR) is proud to announce that Chief Executive Officer Wendy Giroux has been awarded the prestigious Association Executives Network (AEN) Award of Excellence by the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA).
Presented during the Canadian Real Estate Association’s Annual General Meeting, this national award recognizes exceptional leadership, dedication, and service within the REALTOR® Association community.
With more than 15 years of experience, Wendy Giroux has demonstrated outstanding commitment to advancing the profession through advocacy, collaboration, and innovation. Her leadership was instrumental in the successful integration of multiple Associations, resulting in the formation of the Central Lakes Association of REALTORS® (CLAR) — one of the most significant organizational transformations in Ontario’s real estate sector.
Wendy’s impact extends beyond organizational leadership. She has been a strong advocate for REALTORS® at all levels of government, a dedicated mentor to fellow Association executives, and a champion of community engagement through Ontario REALTORS Care® Foundation initiatives and local charitable efforts.
“Wendy is an all-in leader. She has this visionary mindset, and we saw that directly when we brought five Boards together to form the Central Lakes Association of REALTORS®,” said Central Lakes Association of REALTORS® (CLAR) President Christine Riley. “She didn’t just merge a bunch of offices together—Wendy really pioneered a model that was able to balance each one of our Associations’ unique identities with the power and the weight of a unified voice. Whether it’s at PAC (Political Action Committee) Days, building real relationships with our MPs and MPPs, or pushing our next big charity event, she’s all-in and never just watching from the sidelines.”
The Association Executives Network (AEN) Award of Excellence is presented to individuals who demonstrate exceptional service, leadership in Association management, and a lasting impact on the profession.
The Central Lakes Association of REALTORS® (CLAR) congratulates Chief Executive Officer Wendy Giroux on this well-deserved national recognition and celebrates her continued leadership in shaping the future of the REALTOR® community.
